#twtbx (tweetbox) is connected to the internet and marries one of the oldest electrical communication systems, morse code, with a relatively new system, Twitter.

When a new tweet is received containg the hashtag #twtbx, a bell rings to signal the arrival of the message. The message is then mechanically tapped out in morse code, audible from the inside of the box. Additionally, each message is printed on a paper roll, which trails from the bottom of the box.
